The event organizers and/or venue requires Hired and Non-Owned Auto.

Hired and Non-Owned Auto (HNOA) liability covers bodily injury and property damage caused by a vehicle you hire (including rented or borrowed vehicles) or caused by non-owned vehicles (vehicles owned by others, including vehicles owned by your employees).

The event organizers and/or venue requires a Waiver of Subrogation.

An event organizer may require you to “waive subrogation” against certain parties. Subrogation is the process where an insurer pursues reimbursement from another insurer for claims they paid that were caused by the actions of their policyholder.  Waiver of subrogation prevents the insurer from pursuing reimbursement from the other insurer for such claims.

DEFINITION of WAIVER OF SUBROGATION: An agreement between two parties in which one party agrees to waive subrogation rights against another in the event of a loss. The intent of the waiver is to prevent one party's insurer from pursuing subrogation against the other party. Generally, insurance policies do not bar coverage if an insured waives subrogation against a third party before a loss. However, coverage is excluded from many policies if subrogation is waived after a loss because to do so would violate the principle of indemnity.
